Meet singles while making a positive impact in your community.
“We have chemistry”… whether it’s a romantic connection or a new best friend, when you experience chemistry with someone you feel it on a deep level. We believe that shared feel-good experiences are natural catalysts for chemistry and we aim to organize events that ignite those sparks.

Our goal is to provide fun, casual, gender-balanced events for singles while giving back to the community. For each event we donate a portion of ticket profits to the charities we volunteer with. (Check out our impacts here!)
We have two types of events:
Volunteering - Our volunteering events are designed to foster meaningful connections through fun, service-oriented teamwork activities. After volunteering together we go out for food/drinks nearby. In a relaxed setting, you'll have ample time to engage with others and truly get to know them. Following each event an optional matching form is sent out so that people can connect with each other further.
Social Mixers - Our social mixers are happy hours or cocktail parties.
We plan to host a variety of events, each with its own format, but all with some commonalities.
Even gender balances
Age brackets (More coming soon! Subscribe to get notified!)
Plenty of socialization time
Support for a charitable organization
For privacy protection, we do not accept requests for the contact information of any attendees. If you feel chemistry with someone at an event, we encourage you to be brave and exchange contact information directly. We send out an optional matching form after events to help people connect.

We provide casual, affordable, low-pressure opportunities to meet single people IRL. Maybe you’re tired of the bar scene, speed dating, and the dating apps. Maybe you’ve considered the membership-based “active singles” programs out there but they’re just too expensive. Or maybe their extreme sports-like activities don’t appeal to you. Maybe you just don’t have the time or scheduling flexibility to commit to long-duration events far in advance. We understand. That’s why we started Organic Chemistry Dating. We want you to walk away from each event feeling good about the people you met and the contribution you made to your community.
Even if you don’t make a romantic connection at your first event you’ll feel great about giving back to the community. It’s also a great way to make single friends!

Timing - Arrive on time and plan to hang out after to maximize socialization time. We do ice breaker games at the beginning so everyone is already friendly and at ease when we start volunteering. Afterwards people often go out for lunch or coffee together. If you leave early you might miss out on some of the best socialization time because people are most warmed up and feeling chatty after spending a couple hours together.
Come to multiple events and you’ll start to see familiar faces and make new friends more easily. We have a strong group of repeat volunteers and it’s quickly becoming a fun little community.
Communication - It requires some courage to put yourself out there, so here are some tips on how to do it with kindness. If you’re interested in connecting with someone you can either ask for their contact info directly or offer to give them yours (e.g. you can write it on a piece of paper).
If someone asks for your contact info but you’re not sure if you want to give it, you can simply ask for their information instead. That gives you time to think and decide later if/how to respond.
Some people are uncomfortable being contacted out of the blue after an event (e.g. you friend them on Facebook without talking to them first in person). We don’t recommend trying to find someone via Googling, it can make people feel like they’re being stalked.
